Change residual to text

Hello,

We have depoyed our application without deploing also the Alfresco companion application, thus we were missing a property in our model(xml).

However, this property was created and setup as "residual" in Alfresco.

Is there are way to change residual to text (in realtime)  without redeploying the model xml ( thus restarting Alfresco)?

Residual basically means there is no model.
