What do you mean by language? The language of the script task? The overall bpmn expression language?

I think he means language in terms of i18n, but I could be wrong.

i18n in the web-apps is handled by the use of properties files with the strings in.

The web-apps take their locale from the Accept-Language header sent from the browser.

To modify the language, you need to translate the activiti-i18n-core.properties file ( http://fisheye.codehaus.org/browse/activiti/activiti/trunk/modules/activiti-webapp/src/main/webapp/W... ) and save it in the same place with the locale string in the file name. E.g. for Japanese language translation, you would call the file:
activiti-i18n-core_ja.properties

Some of the web scripts have their own properties files that will also need customising in the same manner. E.g. : task-list.get.properties
http://fisheye.codehaus.org/browse/activiti/activiti/trunk/modules/activiti-webapp-explorer/src/main...
