Change email invite subject in Alfresco 5.0.d

Hi there,
can someone please tell me if (and how) is possible to edit the email subject that users get when they are invited to join a site (Alfresco Share: You are invited to join the site….)??

Yes, you can edit/add/remove..
In the share, click 'repository' at toolbar, then at left panel open data dictionary -> email models -> invite emails -> invite and at right panel you can edit the files.

Yes, you can edit everything except the text in the email's object.

Systeminnn is right I have tried to modify files and nothing happened. I restarted Alfresco and again nothing happened. Does anybody knows how to change the text of invitation emails or in fact any kind of email template?

Hi there,

Try to do it if you go to Alfresco GUI -> Login as ADMIN -> Click on Repository -> Data Directory -> Email Templates
Check out all templates, download one of them, edit it as you wish and upload it back.
Check out the result and let us know if it worked.

I think you need to edit the invite-email.html.ftl file located in the invite folder, which is subfolder of Email Templates

I have explored all the email templates under data dictionary and i cant find the option to change the subject, i.e. Alfresco Share: Recent Activities
