Its great that you can now add a piece of content to a category. But how do you browse sites content by category. I can see the tags left hand element that allows content to be browsed by tags. No Category element appears though. How do you set this up.

You don't currently. You could take a copy of the tree filter and wire that up to Categories with some development.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the response. Is browsing by category on the roadmap, if so whats the timeframe for release. I suggest that its meaningless having ability to add content to a category if you can't use it for finding the content you want.

It's not on the roadmap as far as I'm aware.
Accessing categories came "for free" with the new Forms Service. It's the same picker as the tags, with a very slightly different configuration. Categories themselves cannot be managed from within Share so, until we add that ability, I'd suggest that accessing categories is a "nice to have" for now. But you're correct, it's of little use today.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
last year you said:
What is the current status? I agree that categories are nice, really "very" nice to have: they play an essential role when you have a large user base and/or a lot of documents.
