Hi All.
I have 2 JBoss application servers, one running the Alfresco repository and the other running Alfresco Share (4.1 community - I know this is currently unsupported but we don't have a 4.0 version installed)
Anyway, If I login as admin and select the "More + -> applications -> Channel Manager" I get to the channel manager page.
If I now try to create a channel, I get an error stating the channel cannot be created because of the server DNS.
For example Share is running on "http://chma-qa115:8080/share" and Alfresco is running on "http://chma-qa117:18080/alfresco"
Trying to create a channel for Linked In on Share results in the error :
Unable to authorize channel. Please check you are using the correct URL:
You used the domain: http://chma-qa115:8080
The expected domain is: http://chma-qa117:8080
Please reload the page using this link and reauthorize your new channel.
So not only is it stating I'm on the wrong domain but it hasn't even gotten the correct port for the Alfresco repository
Obviously selecting the link fails because Alfresco is not running on chma-qa117:8080 and even if it was, this functionality is fundamentally wrong.
I cannot raise a defect as Alfresco will not take defects for unsupported version so if somebody else could confirm that this either works or does not work on 4.0 that would be great.
Regards
Steve
P.S. If I select a Facebook channel it does actually redirect to facebook and setup a channel, reauthorise seems to work but I can't delete the channel
