Cannot Create Account

I have downloaded the mobile app and have tried to create a new account.  I have put in my username, password and the URL address of our alfresco site which I can access directly on the web and login in just fine.  But once I put all the information into the iPad app for a new account the SAVE button is greyed out and does not allow me to save the new account information.  I have tried a number of different things but all i get is the greyed out Save button.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mark

Could you check you've added a description for the account please?

Thanks,
Mike

Yes I have added my username which works when i log in directly to the server, my password which also works, the URL which matches the URL that I access through the web and a complete description over 30 characters just in case.  The Port is 80 which is the port alfresco is running on and the service document is set to CMIS.  The save button is still greyed out.

Sorry to hear you're having problems connecting to the repository using the app.

Could you please post full details of what you've entered for each option?

What is the URL you mean when you say "the URL that I access through the web"?

Does it work if you use a shorter description?

For me:

Username:  [my username]
Password:   [my password]
Server address:  206.193.225.234:8080/share
Description:  Document Management and Collaboration
HTTPS:  off
Port: 80
Service Document:  /alfresco/service/cmis

This is the reason. The server address should just be the IP (or domain name).

Thanks,
Mike
