Cancel Offline Edit for other user

Is it possible to cancel a offline edit for another user? This is useful if a person forgot to check in and went off for holidays etc.

I think this should be a possibility for the site manager in share.

Is there anyway to do this in alfresco explorer and not to break any logic in share?

That's a good idea - I'll have a think about it's implications. It's not currently possible via the Share UI, as everything is keyed off the current userId. There might be permission issues as a Site Manager isn't the same as the "admin" user. We're currently scoping an Admin Console for Share, so it could be one of the panels on there eventually.

Yes, but you need to be logged-in as an admin user to do it.
Find the content in the documentLibrary space under the relevant Sites space. Choose "Undo Check Out" and note the warning: If you undo the check out of a document, the associated working copy will be deleted and all changes to it since the Check Out will be lost.
