Can we send checked in file as Attachment through email

Hi All
I am evaluating Alfresco for a project where, I have successfully integrated HylaFax with Alfresco .
In my  setup incoming faxes are copied to the DM in regular internal, I have setup the rule in Alfresco that each time a new FAX is checked into the system, it sends mail to the users and it works fine.

Now I want to make it much better by sending incoming fax(file copied to alfresco) as attachment, is this business requirement possible with Alfresco. ie sending a email with checked in file as attachment

Yes.     It's not clear exactly which bits you are using when "copied to the DM in regular internal".  

But all the ways in are covered.

copied to the DM :- in Hylafax I have written a script to copy the fax files to the DM(Alfresco Share)

Hi bisana,
if I understand right your requirements you want to send a fax file, which is already in the Alfresco repository, as an email attachment. If you create your custom mail action as described here: http://savicprvoslav.blogspot.com/2010/10/send-html-email-from-alfresco-33-with.html  you can do it.
Instead document in  mail.parameters.node=document; you just need to give the nodeRef to your fax file.
