Can't Preview website in alfresco 3.0

Hi,

I have installed alfresco 3.0 labs and started alfresco server as well as virtual server.
I have created web  project.But when i click the "preview website" the page can't displayed message is coming or
"server is busy.please try later"

The following url is generated when clicking on the preview website.
http://tryweb.www--sandbox.127-0-0-1.ip.alfrescodemo.net:8180/
I have mentioned  in C:\Alfresco\virtual-tomcat\conf\alfresco-virtserver.properties like

alfresco.virtserver.domain=127-0-0-1.ip.alfrescodemo.net

I am working on a stand alone machine and i  have restricted internet connection.


Please guide me about this.

I have the same problem. Also I use a standalone machine. All configuration tests did not have success. How does the link have to be at a standalone machine?

I have given output pattern as
/${webapp}/media/releases/content/${name}.xml
Do we need to mention the filename of xml  which i have browsed (eg:compantfooter.xml) and webapp as ROOT

Hi, I have found a solution. Since I do not have any nameserver I have the file C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts  around the followings entry completes:

127.0.0.1       alfrescosample.www–sandbox.127-0-0-1.ip.alfresodemo.net

An entry must be available well for every sand box.
