Can't access Alfresco from clients

Hi all.
Just downloaded and installed Alfresco Community on Windows Server 2012 but can't access it from any other client on the network.  During setup I bound it to the local IP and not localhost.  Should I have done this differently or is the access IP locked by default?  If locked where do I unlock it.

While I'm at it I can't find where to setup SMTP and other admin things.

I've searched this forum, the docs and the internet honest.

Thanks
Paul.

Have you installed Alfresco using the tomcat's default port? 8080?

If so, have you configured your server's firewall to allow access on that port?

About SMTP, you have to include your configuration into alfresco-global.properties file.
It's located at tomcat/shared/classes folder.

You have to set something like this:

#
# Outbound Email Configuration
#————-
mail.host=smtp.host
mail.port=25
mail.username=stmp.user
mail.password=stmp.user.password
mail.from.default=validemail
mail.smtp.timeout=60000

You can find more information about this topic here http://docs.alfresco.com/community/concepts/email-outboundsmtp-props.html

Thanks for the reply.  It's all defaults.  Windows Firewall is deffo off.  Not seen that file but I'll do so now thanks.
