Can someone please guide how to proceed with Alfresco community 5.1 integration with Outlook.

Unfortunately the Alfresco Outlook Integration Plugin is not available for Alfresco Community but it is only available for Alfresco One (Enterprise Edition).

Anyway you can configure your Alfresco Community instance enabling the IMAP protocol, in this way you will interact with the repository using any email client:
