Calendar events not persistent

We have been using the Share Calendar in the Community Edition (3.3.0g) with Postgresql. We enter events into the Calendar and everything seems to work fine. However, when we bring Alfresco down and restart it, often all of the events are lost. The Calendar exists, but it is now empty. This doesn't seem to be 100% consistent as occasionally we have restarted and the Calendar doesn't lose events. Most often though, after a restart they are gone. Has anyone else had this experience?

In further testing I tried this test with an Alfresco instance of the same release (3.3.0.g) but running mySQL instead of postgreSQL.  I am not having any persistance problems with the mySQL Alfresco instance. The problems appear only with the Alfresco instance using postgreSQL.
