bulk import tool and audit data

sorry that I'm rather new to alfresco…

I've used the bulk import tool discussed here to successfully load documents into my repository:

can anyone tell me whether this tool bypasses the audit system? I've configured this audit dashlet for alfresco-access:
https://github.com/share-extras/audit-dashlet

but I'm not really seeing CREATE for my documents.

of course, I'm a little confused by the whole "paths" thing… would also appreciate any links to documentation that explains them.

if it doesn't provide audit then is there another bulk loader that someone can recommend to me?

try this tool https://code.google.com/p/alfresco-bulk-filesystem-import/ to see if it happens to overcome your issue.
It works fine.
