Bulk Import/Export Share content

Hi,

Whats the best way to Bulk Import/Export folders/documents in Share? Will Bulk File System Import tool work with Share? Can we import from a file system to /Company Home/Sites/<SiteName>/documentLibrary?

How do we export Share content from an Alfresco instance to another? We want to export Documents and their Tags.

You can use the bulk file system import tool to import directly to a Share site's document library folder, should not be a problem.

As for your other question, there are a few ways to go about it.  Perhaps the best way is the replication service.  See the admin guide for more details.

We could successfully use the Bulk File System Import Tool to Share sites documentLibrary.

We also tried an add-on for exporting site's content, users & tags to another site hosted in a different instance of Alfresco. Below link has more details on the add-on
