bug in Alfresco 1.3 with CIFS

we are facing the bug described at -

which is not allowing us to begin using Alfresco version 1.3 community edition

i have to decide to install 1.2.1 or 1.3. I would like to install 1.3 to be able to try out the new dialogs and wizard framework. but i cannot do that without resolving the CIFS issue

i notice that this bug is resolved in the 1.3 Enterprise edition and i am wondering when this fix will be available in the community edition.

can someone from the alfresco engineering team respond to this.
