I’m starting discovering the potential of Alfresco to transform this company in a paperless company, but I have some basic questions:

1)   How to create, in Alfresco, a “DB” with the name, address, telephone number, etc. from our clients and give to each one a single ID number? Where can I do it?

2)   How to give, automatically, a unique number to each document and make that number visible to the end-user?

3)   How can I say that the document “belongs” to the client nº XXXX and is part of the study nº 1, nº20 and nº333?

4)   I have come across with the concept “transparent layer” for directories and files. For document’s this work also?

Hello,
Firstly, I must ask which of the Alfresco-supplied user interfaces are you planning to use?  Also, are you familiar with the concept of an aspect as it applies to our model?
