Backup strategy on clustered environment

Hello Friends,

I do have following structure of ALFRESCO ENTERPRISE 5.0

- load balancer
- alfresco 1 , alfresco 2
- solr 1 , solr 2
- transformation server 1,  transformation server 2,
- mySQL

My all request goes via load balancer for alfresco / solr/ trans server

Now I want to decide some best backup strategy as its production server, and want to minimize downtime and having reliable backup.
Can anybody point out best strategy?

I am planning like below but not sure is best or having any issue with it :

While servers are running
- solr backup (from solr1,solr2)
- db backup ( mysql)
- content store backup

What will be the sequence and what could be the issue, I am not much aware, while running server and taking db backup is kind of locking issue may occur,
and also in clustered environment how to backup what to backup in what sequence is also IMP.

Please suggest some good way to have some reliable backup.

do you need a solr back up at all if you have a redundant node?

Then please follow the backup documentation.

What tools (and options) you use for your database also depends upon the DB you use.

THanks mrogers,

Yes, its clustered node, so we can have either node's solr index backedup, so it wont be redundant.

WE are using mySQL as db. We yet not finalized any tool, but you can recommend any tool for back it up without locking issues.
