Hello!

I try to write a small backscript.
I read that I have to backup folder:
contentstore directory
solr/workspace/ directory
solr/archive/ directory
contentstore.deleted directory (optional)

But the Postgres made a problem for me.
How can I made a backup?

I stop alfresco before backup … so its a cold backup

Hi,

If you want to make a backup of Alfresco repository, you have to backup both Alfrsco database and Alfresco folder.

What's your problem with the backup of PostgreSQL database ? Do you have an error ?

My problem is that I don't know how to backup the database.
The installation was automatic and I don´t know the login for the database.

Or should I copy the files in the postgre folder?

The database name, username, and password are in the alfresco-global.properties file.
