AVM store-specific searches

Hi.

I've got a Web Script that searches for web-content from a specified AVM-store:

var store = avm.lookupStore(args.store);
var results = store.luceneSearch("@\\{http\\://www.alfresco.org/model/wcmappmodel/1.0\\}parentformname:\'nameOfTheWebForm\"");

Everything works as expected, when querying the staging sandbox (i.e., args.store = "webproject"). However, if I try to search from a user-specific sandbox (for example; args.store = "webproject–admin") results is an empty set. Why is that? How can search from a some user's sandbox?

Lucene based search is only available for the latest snapshot of the head revision for staging. It is not available for user sand boxes, workflow sand boxes etc.

One preview mechanism that will allow search for Author sandboxes is Test Server Deployment.

On the wiki page above you can also see how to turn on indexing for author sandboxes but please note that only snapshotted content can be searched.    The author sandbox is snapshotted when content is submitted to staging or deployed so it might not work quite as you expect.
