Hi All
I am looking into alfresco authentication. My intention is to try out LDAP based authentication
Had gone through the docs
http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/LDAP_authentication_with_CIFS_in_3.4
http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Alfresco_Authentication_Subsystems#LDAP
Other than editing the files in "/opt/alfresco-3.4.c/tomcat/webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/subsystems/Authentication/ldap" is there any option in changing the authentication method using web interface. I tried searching for it and did not find
I feel the "admin" user should have options to modify the authentication method by web interface, the reason is that most System Administrators are comfort with web interface or GUI.

On Alfresco Enterprise you can change the authentication chains via the JMX console. For community users you will need to change the properties files.
(And once again, don't ever hack files in WEB-INF on any version)

If you just want to authenticate off of AD checkout my post here.
I'm using the community edition, and did what I said in there on a fresh install.

Thanks Mrogers , Tysat
I do not have AD, what I have is oracle OID.
I am evaluating the Alfresco community edition, if I can give a demo for the business requirements using Alfresco, we will go for the enterprise edition and the LDAP authentication can be done.
