I have a 64 bit Windows 2008 Server and all works well on it except CIFS. At first I was having trouble with FTP as well but I followed the various directions about stopping SMB and finally got FTP working. But CIFS won't even pretend to work. I have been working with the latest commercial version as a test and the tech support hasn't been able to give me any solutions either.
Anyone here actually have any success with this? I keep reading hints about it…but haven't seen anyone who actually said they got it to work yet…..
