AlfrescoLabs 3 does not work with AD/Kerberos

Hi,

It's been a week already since I started trying to run Alfresco v3 with AD/Kerberos. I followed to the letter the instructions on http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Configuring_the_CIFS_and_web_servers_for_Kerberos/AD_integration but had no luck. After the modifications Alfresco starts just fine but when I try to login via Internet Explorer with Administrator@<MYDOMAIN> it throws this:
19:21:12,825 User:guest ERROR [[localhost].[/alfresco].[Faces Servlet]] Servlet.service() for servlet Faces Servlet threw exception java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: End of data buffer

I have Windows 2003 R2 with SP2 with AD and AlfrescoLabs 3 (the build from 01.10.2008).

Please help. From the experience I had with Alfresco until now, it feels not very stable and I don't think it is ready for production. This bug has been reported several times and no solution has been given by the team so far. Very sad.

Thank you and best regards

Exactly the same problem here.. could anybody give a hint?

Could i get more debug information by editing log4j.properties?

Any help would be appreciated.

I have started a thread that I hope to eventually turn into a AlfrescoWiki page for how to configure Active Directory authentication for both CIFS and the Web Interface in Alfresco Labs 3c.

Please see my thread:
[ERROR]Alfresco Engineers: CIFS auth does not work. Sugg?

Please come join in the discussion, or at least subscribe to the thread. I want to try to get everyone having these types of issues into the thread so that we can get a large collection of experiences and configurations.

We WILL find the answer for how to enable Active Directory authentication with CIFS in Alfresco!!
