Guys,

When i attended the uk alfresco event 28th June London there was mention of being able to download and install the alfresco website to get you started with WCM.  Does anyone know where i can download this?

Right the sample website is in the community website zip on sourceforge i had downloaded the exe.  Does anyone know how to get the site and running?

You'll want to use the Alfresco Getting Started guide, which includes a tutorial to walk through this sample website (which is based on 2.0 and a bit out of date; we'll be updating to leverage 2.1 - particularly web scripts - shortly after the 2.1.0 Enterprise release.
