Alfresco under maintenance

I've been trying to install alfresco for quite some time with no success on debian. Yesterday I decided to give Ubuntu a try and it kinda worked better.
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS using https://github.com/loftuxab/alfresco-ubuntu-install on a VM with 3G's of RAM.

After the installation when I try to access it on the browser using http://192.168.1.107/share/page/ it keeps loading for about 3 minutes and then it gives me a maintenace screen.
I checked the logs and there was a problem with accessing the database (postgresql), solved that and now the logs only contain INFO.

But the page keeps taking ages to load and when it does it loads a maintenance screen. What can I do?

What version of Alfresco ?

And what screen do you see?   I don't know of a "maintenance" screen for Alfresco Share.

3G is probably not enough.

How much would be the minimum? For now, until I get a better server it will only be used by 5-10 people.
My current server only has 8G.

I believe a full 4 GiB is the official minimum for current Alfresco versions.

I don't know about the loftuxab installer but whenever I have installed Alfresco it sits on port 8080 so you should got to

http://192.168.1.107:8080/share/page/
