Alfresco Share Deployment and Upload Dashlet problem

Hi all,

I have created a site using Alfresco Share under my local host. But how can I upload my site to a server of my own? I understand that I can log in to share.alfresco.com and create a site there, but is it possible for me to  upload my site to a public server?

Also, I want to upload a dashlet, and the tutorial asks me to put the code in the folder share/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco. I am wondering where is this folder? And what if I want this dashlet to appear on share.alfresco.com, how can i upload the dashlet to my site?

Thanks in advance

There's no concept of uploading Sites to other servers. It's also not currently possible to export and import content between servers within Share itself.

This is a folder on your filesystem; it's meant for server administrators only as otherwise malicious code could easily be deployed onto a production server.

If you've written a useful dashlet you'd like to contribute, please zip it up and attach it to a JIRA ticket.

Many thanks,
Mike
