Alfresco Share Can't Authenticate Over HTTPS

I have followed the instructions at this blog site to set up HTTPS for my Alfresco installation: Alfresco HTTPS setup - Blog

Alfresco is fine, but when I try to log into Share, I get the error 'The remote server may be unavailable or your authentication details have not been recognized.'

Has anyone found a fix for this problem?

I have been trying to work on this as well. I am running Alfresco Community 4.2.f with AD integration implemented. I have Alfresco running perfectly over http with AD integration, but when I try to implement HTTPS, I get the same error you do. Alfresco login still works perfectly with AD accounts, but share breaks giving me the error you stated above.

I want to try to get it to work by installing a 3rd party wildcard SSL Cert, but at this point, I will settle for just getting it to work with a self-signed SSL Cert.

I have tried following the website you posted as well as the following links:

https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=how+to+force+alfresco+to+use+https

So far, I have not been able to get it to work at all.
