Alfresco Share and wiki versioning

Is it possible to obtain the differences (like svn diff) between "site wiki page" revisions 
(as I can see there are versions and you can revert from xx to yy),
if not , is it  related to "what kind of repository is being used by alfresco share" ?
Anyway, could you provide some info/clarification according to what kind of repository is being used by
Alfresco Share by default  and could it be switched from AVM > Dm and vice versa.

The wiki in Alfresco Share does not currently have UI to compare two versions of a page.

All the content in Share is stored within the Alfresco DM repository, so it might be possible to use web services to pull the earlier version of a wiki page and display the diff, but you would need to build your own UI.

Alfresco Share can not be setup on top of the AVM repository.
