Alfresco preview is not faster

I am using media viewer (https://github.com/share-extras/media-viewers) to preview the document. But it is taking too much time to load the contents of ppts and pdfs. How can I improve the preview loading time?

Hello,

which previewer of that addon are you using precisely? It comes with quite a few options and it would be important to know what specific one you are referring to.
Also, have you or an administrator by chance tried to get some transformation statistics, e.g. to see if the loading takes the time or any (one-time-only) transformation to prepare the document for previewing?

I am using pdf j viewer. Some files are loading faster. Some files takes 5 or 10 minutes to load.

How largee / complex are these documents? Were the files that loaded faster already in PDF format or already had their PDF rendition generated (i.e. they have already been viewed once)?
