Alfresco - Next Steps

Hi Friends,

I'm in the process of evaluating alfresco and have decided to start with the community edition. I'd like to put alfresco in use for my small project with a 10 member development team. This will help them with collaborative development.

The issue I have is I only have a Solaris 5.9 box with Oracle on it. I am not sure if I can get the community edition to work on it. I wanted to see if this was a possibility.

Secondly, if it does not work I'd like to explore pricing options for the paid edition, only if that version supports Solaris 5.9 w/Oracle.

Appreciate any guidance you may have for me. thank you.

Here's the list of supported platforms.     Please note that Alfresco will probably run on other platforms, these are just the stacks that have been tested and proven to work.    Alfresco should run on your version of Solaris, it is the version of JVM that's important rather than the O/S.

Only the Enterprise versions of Alfresco support non Open source databases like Oracle.  For pricing information you need to contact Alfresco.
