Hello to all.
I have a few questions about new installation of Alfresco. Anybody use a full installation file (.bin) in production? Or the best way to install all prerequisites and components manually?

I've done both. My recommendation is to use the installer unless you have a very good reason not to. Good reasons not to might be things like:
* You already have a config management tool that knows how to install all of the dependencies and you want to use that for those.
* You plan on using the config management tool for everything, including the Alfresco pieces (not just dependencies).
* You plan on deploying to some other application server. (Although the binary installer could still be used to install dependencies and a tomcat-install for verification purposes).
Regardless of how you install, make sure you don't just accept the defaults. Do a search for "Alfresco Security Best Practices Toni de la Fuente" to see some examples of things you might want to change.
