I am very curious what type of integration you would be looking for, if you have time can you go to the Wiki – you will find a section on the main page called forge projects and under that one for Liferay extension.  Please describe your thoughts.  Or…. post them here and I'll be happy to copy them to the wiki.

For 1.3 we have released an Alfresco & Liferay bundle, and you should be able to find the community release on Sourceforge.

I just think that the bundle is useless, because you just put alfresco inside liferay, but the login integration is none.

I think we need to make a SSO first rather than this bundle.

for this bundle, I prefer to use alfresco as server and liferay as portlet server, and make new portlet that can read alfresco.

but the login is not integrate yet.

I think the login integration is more important than current bundle.

anyone work on this anyway?

Ok, i am ina total agreement with you, it is urgent to use the SSO in a portal to integrate Alfresco. So i am trying to do this. Can you tell me anything or show me the better way to do this ?

Now, I try to learn CAS, and try the CAS demo, may be next week my Liferay will use CAS as the SSO engine.

but I dont know what are the Alfresco team doing for this integration.

I see Liferay and Alfresco have bad implementation in role management, because no module to create role in both apps, and this is bad for the integration.

how can be a biz integration without cool role.
