my alfresco ee 3.2 was working until I had some webscript errors, then when I restart tomcat and alfresco, can't login anymore to Alfresco.  login page comes up.  enter admin/admin then

Can you post your error log, as that will give more details of the exact issue you have.

login page comes up.

so it means you are able to get to the login page when you access alfresco web client.

enter admin/admin then

after giving the credentials you get the HTTP Status 404 - /alfresco/jsp/extension/login.jsp
You can do lot of self-tests, were you able to access the webscripts page /alfresco/service/
Anyways, your error log should give more details.
