Hello everyone,

I just started to play around with Alfresco and am currently trying to get the Alfresco-Portlet running on JBoss Portal (2.6.6).

When I start my server, everything seems fine until the following is written to the log:

13:57:32,241 INFO  [SchemaBootstrap] No changes were made to the schema.
13:57:32,343 WARN  [DictionaryRepositoryBootstrap] StoreRef 'workspace://SpacesStore' does not exist
13:57:32,344 WARN  [DictionaryRepositoryBootstrap] StoreRef 'workspace://SpacesStore' does not exist
13:57:32,650 WARN  [ADMLuceneIndexerImpl] Detected root node addition: deleting all nodes from the index
Then, nothing happens.
The server does not continue to start up; the java process takes about 80% CPU (so something is happening), but that's all.

Is there someone with an idea, why this happens  or what I can do ??

To figure out what the JVM is doing you could use the jconsole topthreads plugin. Google will take you there.
jconsole -pluginpath topthreads.jar

A root node addition is normally triggered from a reindex procedure. Did you dropped the database and using some old index?
Or how did you get there?

Both alf_data and base where cleaned up before starting.
I debugged the code and it seems taking a very, very long time to parse an XML file for initializing Bootstrap like Catégories.

Hi again,
the problem described happened on a Windows Vista. We installed it on a JBoss 4.0.5 on WinXP and the same problem happened, but after some time, a OutOfMemory exception ocurred, so we increased JVM memory parameters and now it works fine on both WinXP and Vista.
