Alfresco hard disk scalability

Hi to all,

Im a newbie using alfresco, now my question is:
1. If i installed alfresco (RM) can i use external drive to store or archive my data or can i just add additional hard disk? if yes, i would like to know how. If Alfresco to be my archiving system.
2. Can i incorporate LDAP to alfresco (RM) for authentication?

- depends on what you want to achieve, your operating system and the system configuration. or example, if you need extra storage for a growing Alfresco system and you are running Linux and you have LVM set up then expand your LVM with more disc space.

2. Can i incorporate LDAP to alfresco (RM) for authentication?

Yes. Have a look at the documentation & search for LDAP http://docs.alfresco.com/4.0/index.jsp and in the Wiki http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Alfresco_Authentication_Subsystems
