Alfresco hangs while exiting on windows vista !!

Friends,

I am able to run alfresco on windows vista home basic.
but when I shutdown alfresco server it hangs. even that JVM is not exited using CTRL+ALT+DEL
I have to restart my PC to do this stuff.

I have JDK 1.6 update11 installed.
what could be the solution?  didn't vista support JDK properly or any other issue?

If anybody know the solution let me know.
I am using alfresco 2.2.2 (enterprise)

Note: Its not case with only 2.2.2 but every older version too.

There are a few threads reporting problems with shutdown and it seems related to the JDK and Tomcat version.   Its not a problem with vista.

You can kill your instance of tomcat which will save you from doing a reboot.

As you told you can kill tomcat instance.
I tried to kill (end process) java.exe but it also won't killed.

that is the only reason I need to restart pc. as it hangs whole pc.

Any clue !!

Use PsKill if a process won't stop.
