Alfresco file/folder/database replication question(s)

Hi

We are looking at implementing Alfresco at 2-3 sites, our head office and two smaller regional offices.

We have a situation where we need to have local copies of individual files and/or folders locally at different offices. If files/folders are stored within a local version of Alfresco is it possible to set these so they are then available at other nominated locations?

In conjunction with the above requirement if a file was 'checked out' at one location for updating would the 'checked out' visibility be visible at the other location(s) where the files are also available?

All suggestions, will be extremely welcome.

Kind Regards

Mark

Real solution is to have one alfresco located on server that can be accessed remotely for instance http://www.alfrescosolution.com and then you work in one alfresco.
we can provide help on this regard .

Thank you for your reply.

The challenge is the volume of data that needs to be available at each site. Each site only had an ADSL connection installed and as these files are up to 10MB in size it isn't practical to have to access them individually.

Well solution then is to have sync option in alfresco so save changes to other server . but like I have sead before this is not good solution because where yo have sync you have sync problems.
