Alfresco Explorer - strange behaviour on clean install

Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie in Alfresco so I apologize in advance if I'm asking silly questions.
Yesterday I installed Alfresco community 5.0b (latest version I think) on a Windows 2008 R2 server, using the 64-bit windows installer. Everything went fine, I was able to configure email notifications, ldap-ad sync and passthrough, and so on.
I was about to customize the email templates and I read that this is done using alfresco explorer, using the link "Company Home" and so on.
The issue is that if I go on http://myserver.mydomain.xxx/alfresco I'm not asked to authenticate, there's no login/password form to fill in, this is what I see:

I was expecting something like that:

And of course there's no "Company Home" link to follow, I can't find anything useful.
What am I missing? Can somebody help please?
Thanks a lot

You should try going to

http://myserver.mydomain.xxx/share

The other thing is if you are just trying out alfresco for the first time and have installed the basic vanilla install you might have to include the port number. http://myserver.mydomain.xxx:8080/share

Hi,
take a look to this interesting article by Jeff Potts about features removed from Alfresco 5.

thanks abarisone for the link, now I know that my installation is working correctly Smiley Happy
anyway, if explorer is gone, where do I have to go to configure email templates?
Thanks!
