Is it necessary to install Alfresco Labs on a dedicated server ? or can it cohabit with other open-source applications?
I have a server with Linux Debian; composed of php5; mysql; Apache and phpmyadmin. On this server is installed and configured the applications Php_Congés and Achievo. I would like to install Alfresco Labs 3 on this same server ; but before I will wish to know if that will not involve problems with the other software installed.

Sorry for my english  Smiley Happy
and thank you for your assistance and answer.

Good day.
Nat

Alfresco will cohabit with other applications, we do it all the time for development.      However the other applications will reduce the resources available for Alfresco and therefore reduce your overall performance.

If performance is important typically the myql database is your first priority to move off the application tier since, in general, databases like as much CPU as possible.

I suggest you use the alfresco full installer which will install Tomcat for you.
