alfresco community edition use of purpose

hi,
I installed the latest version of alfresco community edition in windows, and i see that it is only for evaluation.
Is it okay if i want to use it for commercial purpose..?

Hi,
Community Edition has some limitations, for example:
  • you cannot use Oracle

  • clustering is not supported, so it is not reccommended for high loads and critical projects

  • you don't have support from Alfresco

  • enterprise edition is more stable

It's absolutely fine to use the Community version for your commercial application as the licence supports this. But, as noted, your support is from the Community (this forum).
If your organisation has enough financial backing it could purchase an Enterprise licence but this isn't necessarily cheap.
