Alfresco Community 4.0.b doesn't install on Windows 7

At the end of the automatic installation, the following popup message appears:

component afrescowcm does not exist

followed by another popup:

Problem running post-install step. Installation may not complete correctly

and a message (in French, this is the language I chose) which I am translating:

Error in the execution of servicerun.bat STOP: the service alfrescoPostgreSQL isn't started.

Last, the Alfresco Setup window is stuck with a message saying it is stopping PostgreSQL.

I closed the 2nd popup, and the "installation" finished, now it is endlessly looping in a popup window starting the servers and deploying Alfresco.

Can Alfresco be installed on Windows 7, and if so, how? Thanks.

I have the same issue in Windows Server 2008 R2 x64.

Anybody have the solution??
