Any word on when this is being released? Late June was the estimate I heard earlier, but haven't heard anything else since the high level resignations. Has this put the timescale back a bit? We're about to put the 2.1 Community release into production, but still experiencing problems that seem to have been fixed in the Enterprise version that due to update the 2.9 community release.

Anyone know anything?

As you can see in http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Roadmap, the next 2.9 Community Update (C?) will be june 2008. 3.0 will be released 31 july. Is that release date still doable?

I'm guessing with only two working days left of June and no communication, they aren't going to manage their June 2008 deadline. Can anyone from Alfresco (NancyG?) advise on how far back it's being pushed?

Since no work is being done on the 2.x web client and store anymore, you might as well check out community SVN head, build it and call it 2.9. And since bug fixes go into the enterprise SVN only, and no published plan to merge into the community version, I don't think there will be any difference until 2.9 is announced (whenever this would be).

Well, I don't know. For people who check constantly in SVN HEAD, I don't see much going on with web client either. I guess I would be called "not professional" too if I say there is not much going on there, and that's my impression unfortunately. I regularly diff HEAD against our internal version, and not much going on there. Everything is in slingshot.
