All,
Is this (http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Changing_Default_Port_Configuration) the current and correct information on changing the default port for Alfresco and Share?
The page indicates "== Up to version Lab 3.0C ==". We are running 3.2r2.
We obviously need to run this on port 80/443 with 443 being the prefered way. Maybe force redirect from port 80 to port 443 is possible?
I understand that Tomcat is the place in which the actual port change is made but I want to find where else I need to change it in the Alfresco structure so as not to have lost links once our users start to use the system.
Any hints/suggestions/gotchas would be very much appreciated.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Brian Gregg.

Does anyone know?
I am ready to move our system into production and was hoping to run it on port 80/port 443 instead of 8080/8443?
Thanks,
Brian Gregg

Ok,
Thanks - So it isn't so easy as just changing the server.xml file in Tomcat.
Based upon this - I think we'll stay at the default.
Much appreciated.
Brian.
