Nothing too spectacularOK, it looks like you used the latest recommendations with my edits; but if you really have these "-e" 's in the log, you have some typos in your /etc/init.d/alfresco control script. The errors you are getting from iptables point to the same conclusion. So why won't you verify that the script is exactly like on wiki?
