Alfresco and Sharepoint integration

I am looking for code to access SharePoint resources (In Microsoft Learning Gateway) and either access them from OpenOffice on Windows, Linux and Mac or to copy/replicate/syndicate the contents from the MS SharePoint servers over to Alfresco. Is this something that is possible? The SharePoint references I have found documents how to access Alfresco from MS Office with SPP, but not how to survive with only OpenOffice.

Sharepoint is supposed to support CMIS, but I am not sure, if they only support MOSS as Frontend or as repository as well. As for the Access from Openoffice - the Sharepoint protocoll is freely available somewhere (thats what Alfresco implemented), so OpenOffice should be able to implement the SPP. So suggest it with the OO guys
