Hi,
I have fresh installed Alfresco 5.0.d on a new server with advance setting and I found out the Edit Online button is missing from the list.
I have tired to install the 5.0.d-spp.amp file which recommended by Alfresco.
However, still got no luck with button and I found out the /webapps/alfresco/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/module/org.alfresco.module.vti/context file is missing.
Read it on another post said the directory is not necessary.
But if the directory is not exist, how could I know if I installed properly or not ?

Can anyone help me out which setting I should look at and get the Edit Online button back ? I need to use that function to connect to MS office 2010.

Thanks very much for the help.

Hi All

I've installed a different version, 4.0 …5.0 however the edit online not appear as an action for office document.
Could someone give us the right solution with a all changes and conf that we need to do.

Or if there are any VM already installed that we can use ?

Very URGENT.

Thanks by advance.

I did a fresh installation of Alfresco 5.0.d and I could able to see the Edit Online button in document actions.
Are you seeing any errors in Alfresco.log / Share.log? If so, please share it.
