Alfresco 4 performance statistics

Hi,

We are looking alfresco 4.1.4 as Document management solution for client, but we need statistics on performance.
Like for some particular infrastructure availability, this kind of performance you can expect from the out of box alfresco installation.
Importantly, the statistics on below points
1. document search time
2. document retrieval time

It would be great if somebody can provide actual data based on their existing implementation.  

In case performance is not up-to the expectations, then need some guidance on which i could improve the performance.
Please at least explain on the major factors that could help me to improve the performance
Need help urgently

Even for the out of box installation performance depends on various factors so it varies accordingly.
Few important factors on which performance depends are as follow.

1)I/O is one of the main factors that influence Alfresco performance which includes I/O to db,indexes and content store.
2)Hardware configurations like CPU clock speed.
3)JVM tuning http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/JVM_Tuning
4)Indexing on Solr or Lucene.

These are few factors on which it depends.

Sounds like you are going with Enterprise Edition(4.1.4). In this case best thing you can do is, contact Alfresco Support and validate your infrastructure according to usage scenarios.

I got reply from alfresco support, that they are not able to provide any statistics.
Now, It is really difficult for us to convince customer. Everything is based on performance, customer wants to compare available products in the market based on performance before implementation. So i thought i could get some information from forum, on some existing implementation.
Anybody on the forum implemented Document management on alfresco 4+ .. please help me by providing performance statistics on your implementation ..
