Alfresco 4.2.f Version - 64 bit Linux Alfresco Community edition (Installation issue)

Hi Every one,

We are trying to install Alfresco 4.2.f Version - 64 bit Linux Alfresco Community edition, but we are facing issues.
Please find attached the installaion process we are following and the log and out put files too attached.


Alfresco is not getting started and the alfresco log is also not getting started.

Kindly help us resolve the issue.

Hi,
I can see that you're trying to use an Oracle DB with Alfresco 4.2.f Community Edition and that's not allowed, since community edition can run only PostGRESQL or MySql DB.
Try with these DBs or use the basic installation that goes live with PostGRE.

Thanks for the details, Is oracle not supported in all community version or only in this specified version.
Is oracle supported in Enterprise edition?

Is it possible to integrate Oracle DB in community edition, If yes Kindly let us know the details.

Hi,
Oracle is only supported for Enterprise Edition.
You can find on the net something like this https://github.com/krumboeck/oracle-alfresco but remember that is unsupported by Alfresco and comes with no warranty.
Alfresco always recommends to follow tested and approved compatibility and dependency stacks.
