Alfresco 4.2.f Custom content type not showing up in web explorer

Hi,
I tried out custom content example
I update catalogueModel.xml, custom-model-context.xml and web-client-config-custom.xml files these files are located in this path: alfresco-4.2.f-3/apache-tomcat/shared/classes/extension/

I restart my server and goes to localhost:8080/alfresco then in Company Home I just create content but at that time my custom content is not displayed in drop down
Please help me

Put your custom file at this location: "tomcat\shared\classes\alfresco\extension", then try. Still issue then please post your all custom files too.

I installed bitnami alfresco so i have no extension folder in alfresco..In my installation extension folder is located in class folder "alfresco-4.2.f-3/apache-tomcat/shared/classes/extension/"

are you practicing on alfresco explorer?

if your practicing on alfresco explorer then try to read alfresco cookbook, it will explain alfresco in a good way.
