Alfresco 3.3 using Ingres 9.3

Is it possible to install Alfresco 3.3 using Ingres 9.3 as database? Anybody done this care to share? I know that there is an Alfresco-Ingres ECM bundle however I want to use the latest release from both.

Alfresco 3.3 is not supported on Ingres. If you have Ingres support please ask them to certify Alfresco 3.3. We've recently migrated a customer to MySQL from Ingres because Ingres had not updated the bundle.

What tools you used and any key pointers.
