Alfresco 3.0 SharePoint protocol and Word 2007

Hi,

does Alfresco 3.0 (Labs or Enterprise) supports the SharePoint protocol with MS Word 2007?
For me it seems not working with Office 2007 but only with Office 2003. Is this correct?

I just found out that all works with Office 2007 under Windows XP.
But under VISTA with Office 2007 there is a problem: instead that I see the Alfresco Spaces, the 'container.jsp' opens.

Is this a kown issue? Is there a workaround?

Any help is welcome.

How did you manage to get the Sharepoint protocol to work as all the documentation says that it has not been shipped with Enterprise 3.0 and will only be available later on? Did I miss something? ops:

Yes you are right I also read this - but the SharePoint protocol is working with Enterprise 3.0 - but only with Office 2003.

I hope that someone from Alfresco post a reply, why it is not working with Office 2007.

if yes please help me …
i don't know how to achieve the thing actually i just want to open outlook mail in alfresco without using drag and drop it..
it should automatically update the mails of outlook in alfresco..

so is it possible with existing alfresco 3 ???

If Anybody knows anything please show me the path to achieve this thing ..

Hi Mike,

Actually i want to get the mail from my Microsoft Outlook 2007 (or Microsoft Office 2003) INBOX to alfresco 3.0 repository.
So what i want is alfresco itself check the INBOX of outlook and finds if any new mail is there and if yes then store that mail in alfresco repository.

So is it possible ….??

and there are add ins provided for Microsoft word 2003, Microsoft excel 2003 & Microsoft powerpoint 2003 , so is there any add in available for Microsoft Outlook 2003 … ??? :?:
